After years working within the fashion industry and witnessing firsthand the challenges Caribbean designers face breaking into international markets, Suzanne Lyte founded Island Black Book to create a platform that bridges that gap - providing mentorship, strategy, and direct access to Europe’s fashion ecosystem
We exist to rewrite the narrative of Caribbean fashion — amplifying authentic voices, heritage-led craftsmanship, and bold creativity on the world stage. Our mission is to empower designers across the Caribbean to scale sustainably, export confidently, and claim their rightful place in global retail.
We are dedicated to supporting designers at every stage of their export journey - from early readiness assessments to launch and beyond. Through strategic mentorship, network access, and hands-on support, Island Black Book is the partner Caribbean fashion needs to thrive globally.
